Training Programs
Private Pilot Certificate
The foundation of your flying career. Learn to fly solo, navigate cross-country, and operate in various weather conditions. This certificate allows you to fly for personal use and carry passengers.
- Minimum 40 flight hours (FAA minimum)
- Written knowledge test
- Practical checkride with FAA examiner
- Medical certificate required
Instrument Rating
Expand your flying capabilities by learning to fly in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). Essential for flying in Alaska's frequently changing weather.
- Hold a Private Pilot Certificate
- Minimum 50 hours cross-country PIC time
- 40 hours actual or simulated instrument time
- Instrument knowledge test and checkride
Commercial Pilot Certificate
